Zoar Harvest Festival
July 29 - July 30
Normally held the first full weekend in August, this year’s date has moved to the end of July.
More than 60 dealers of high-quality country antiques will be on site selling historic treasures. This is one of the nation’s most prestigious antiques shows, with dealers from across the U.S. sharing unique finds with early American style enthusiasts and decorators. Visitors won’t want to miss an Artisan Showcase tent housing highly-skilled, juried artisans. Handmade folk art, furniture and fine crafts will be available for sale, and many booths will feature handcrafting demonstrations.
Additional attractions include: Herding dog and working animal demonstrations, Museum building tours and demonstrations on 19th-century methods in weaving, spinning, blacksmithing and butter churning throughout the complex, Contemporary crafts for sale throughout the village, Horse-drawn wagon rides, and an antique car show on Sunday hosted by the Canton Chapter of the Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA). Hours are Saturday, July 29 from 10am-5pm and Sunday, July 30 from 10am-4pm.
